Professional Training Options for The Student Leadership Challenge

Learn to liberate the leader in every one of your students...

You can choose from three unique training programs that enable you to become immersed in and to learn to better teach and facilitate The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership®—the core of The Student Leadership Challenge®. Just choose the option that best suits your time, needs, and level of commitment:

  • Self-Paced Foundation Course: A self-paced, video-based training, made up of six 30-minute modules to help you better understand the foundation of The Student Leadership Challenge. Watch them at your leisure, in your own time.
  • Educator Training Online: An interactive, live online training on The Student Leadership Challenge and ways to teach it. This training consists of eight 1-hour classes over several weeks. Work with live facilitators, join a group of your peers, and earn a Certificate of Completion.
  • Certified Facilitator Training: The most comprehensive training, consisting of seven interactive, live online classes spanning several weeks, and culminating in a two-day face-to-face workshop. In this workshop, you’ll practice facilitating the content, learn new activities, and get the hands-on skills and practice you need to build your own leadership program using The Student Leadership Challenge. Successful completion earns you status as a Student Leadership Challenge Certified Facilitator.

Self-Paced Foundation Course

This introductory program is a self-paced course designed to provide a foundation for working with the Student Leadership Challenge and The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership model. An assessment tool is included to help participants measure their understanding of the core concepts.

Certified Facilitator Training - Summer 2013
Online and In-Person (Dallas, TX)

Online: Mondays & Thursdays, June 24, 27; July 8, 11, 15, 18, 2013, 2:00-3:00 p.m. EDT.
In-Person: August 1-2 (Thurs.-Fri), 2013. Pre-work meeting scheduled during the week of June 17.

Join us for the next Certified Facilitator training program for The Student Leadership Challenge that begins online in June 2013 and ends with a two-day in person workshop at the gorgeous Southern Methodist University campus in Dallas, TX in August. 
 
If you have completed any of the previous Educator Training Online programs you can join us in August to complete the in-person training and become Certified to teach The Student Leadership Challenge. Educator Training Online - Summer 2013

Online: Mondays and Thursdays, June 24, 27; July 8, 11, 15 and 18, 2013, 2:00-3:00 p.m. EDT
Pre-work meeting the week of June 17; Capstone Class: July 22.
The Educator Training Online training is a Certificate of Completion program for The Student Leadership Challenge. The online experience is a blended learning program designed to immerse you more fully in the application of the Student Leadership Challenge and The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership model in educational environment.
